2007 Joint Conference : Homer, Alaska

Museums Alaska and Alaska Historical Society Joint
Conference
September 26-29, 2007
Homer, Alaska
What a great time to visit Homer! All the tourists
are gone, the weather’s gorgeous and you have
beautiful Kachemak Bay all to yourself. Our conference
this year is hosted by the Pratt
Museum and Kachemak
Bay Campus of Kenai Peninsula College –
UAA. We’re thrilled to welcome you to a walkable
conference that lets you see the town and takes
full advantage of Homer’s eclectic culture.
If you don’t get enough beautiful views from
the windows of our session and reception locations,
take in a post-conference tour cruising the bay,
hiking, or visiting the Howling Husky Homestead.
The Homer Theatre is also hosting their annual Documentary
Film Festival throughout our conference with a special
discount for our film buffs. We look forward to
hosting you for a very Homer conference!
