Scott Bartlett joined the Homer Council on the Arts as Executive Director in 2020 after ten years in museums. After working as an audio engineer, producer, and educator in Seattle, his graduate studies at the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa in Ethnomusicology developed into a public sector emphasis and a Museum Studies Certificate. He served as a museum curator for ten years, moving to Homer in 2012 to work at the Pratt Museum. He has been on the board of Museums Alaska since 2016. Scott can also be found making music and messing about with boats.
